Got out today around 8 and only fished till about 11 30. I was trying to break in the new swim bait combo. Threw the 7inch 2x, Monster Jack and the 6inch triple trout. Had a lot of pickerel follow the triple trout. Threw around the bico with nothing on that. So I switch over to a Lucky craft Fat CB B.D.S 2. This crank bait produces numbers for me but no size. 1st cast with it and I am messing around with my drag and it gets hammered. Fixed my drag and this fish is fighting good.
5lb 1oz.My biggest of the year. |
