the only reason I say the 13th is there are a lotof tourneys on the 12th. Heart of CT on Lily is a big one. You would get more boats. |

I vote for Silver first then Moodus. The CT river looked awfully high when I went by it today but there is a week in between to calm down. MarkO |

Apologies to all, but the tourney is now cancelled!
I am going to have a two-day event on Moodus the following weekend (opening day weekend) if you're interested! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

That's really too bad. I guess they don't know much about the river and the course that Yale has set up which takes up less than 1/3 of the river all of it south of the launch. Most of the better fishing is north of the launch anyhow and what difference will a half a dozen boats make.
Why didn't Bill offer to just push it back a week until 4/19? |

There were apparently some altercations between rowers and tourney guys in the past,..so now they just try and avoid the situation where both are going on. _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Do they need permits? Im curious! I hope they do! If not, there is somethng really wrong.
If i couldnt get to join in, i was gonna maybe show up and chat, and get a little fishing in atleast. If it was half way decent out (weatherwise). I still may try and fish it if its nice out. _________________ Thar aint NO fish in here !!!!!!!! |
