I looking for a outboard for my 14' tracker. The transom is 15" so I believe I need a short shaft. I looking for a motor with low hours. If anyone is looking to get rid of one please pm me the details. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Congrats Bass Addict! Can't go wrong with brand new. At least you got a warranty period for it in case anything goes wrong. Good luck with her. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

thanks Jim, I have been looking for a while now and it definitely seems to be a sellers market. I saw a lot of over priced junk from snake oil salesmen that I kist gave up. I just bit the bullet and bought new. I figure I hold on to her for a long time. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

I lucked out with mine. I got a brand new 6hp Merc for my 12' jonboat for $1000.00. in an E-bay ad. Some boat dealer in Canada was clearing out their year end stock and accepted my offer. I had to pay $150.00 shipping to get it trucked here but still saved a ton of money considering they go for over $2,200.00 list. I don't like dealing over E-bay very skeptical about what your'e actully buying but when I called the phone # and they ended up being a legitimate boat dealer I completed the deal over the phone using my credit card. One of the best money I ever spent and I got a great deal! Just got very lucky looking in the right place at the right time.

russo call this guy Bob Maholiak. He has a 7.5 Merc that he is asking 550 obo. The motor looks clean as hell. He is selling it for his neighbor. The motor was barley used and maintained well. His number is 860.684.5004. He can demo it for you too. I was going to buy it but I really wanted something bigger as I plan on taking my boat in the sound. You could probably get it for 450:) _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Yes, that will be more than enough to get you on plane. If it looks as good as Bass Addict says it is and the lower unit was not allowed to freeze over, I so go for it. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
