I hit silver lake on Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm. It was really cold out probably around 33 when I got there. The water was really clear with about 5 feet plus for visibility. I was throwing a black/blue jig, a minnow colored jerk bait and 4" senko. I didn't get one hit. The wind got pretty strong by 11 so it made fishing pretty tough.
On my way home I stopped by the wethersfield res to see what the wind situation looked like. It was worse than Silver so I went home.
Around 430 the wind died down some so I hit the res. I had the same luck as I did at silver - nothing. 
It was still good to get out though.

Yah, regardless if I catch fish or not It is always fun and relaxing.
