Went to Quonnipaug Friday for about an hour and a half. Didn't catch any bass. Caught 2 pickeral. I guess it was better than getting skunked. Still a bit cold on the water for my liking.

Not bad Joe. I didn't realize until now that Q was open until the end of March. Good to know so I have another option this time of year. I wish the small ponds that aren't stocked until just before the season opens were the same way so I'd have some more local areas to fish. Unless I want to fish the tidal Housy I have to travel at least a half hour to get to a place I can fish in a boat. |

Ryan,
If you still have your smaller boat, I always did pretty good at Longmeadow this time of year. Only thing is no place to launch. Have to carry the boat in.

Jlaz - Longmeadow? I just moved to MA (longmeadow) in December and I am trying to find some spots up here to fish. Where is this Longmeadow that you speak of? |
