Fished Great River Park in East Hartford this morning with nothing but skunk. Other guys didn't catch anything either. It was overcast in the low 60s with light to moderate drizzle here and there. I threw sluggos, popper and a bucktail all to no hits. I will try again in a week and see if there's any striper action.

Every place is hit or miss, if it wasnt we wouldnt call it fishing would we? If there is a place that guaranties you a striper please let me know as I wouldnt mind hitting it after striking out at other places!

Yes,..stripers tend to move around. The best striper fishermen on the river have at least 8 or 10 spots, and they run and gun from one to the next until they find them!!

I'm heading down there after work on Friday and going to try throwing slug-gos around dusk. If anyone's around let me know.
