Me and a buddy made a long hike in search of (not stocked) trout today. We tossed tiny brown/copper rooster tails for a while and fared well. We turned over a half a dozen and landed 7 or 8. All browns all small. I got a few pictures with his phone and will post them a little later. _________________ i'm a castaway with no fishing pole, and the fishing hole is just a cast away |

I'm pretty certain trout season is closed unless it's a TMA or WTMA. Even places that aren't stocked but hold trout are closed. |

You should check the Connecticut Angler's Guide before fishing anywhere, right now. I've had some pretty spectacular Springtime brain farts in the past. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

3 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. No it's not a home depot bass. Jimbo got it right, its a stop and shop bass. Also caught this native trout by accident a little while later... |

My man. It's hard to catch fallfish with all those pesky browns thriving in our goddamn streams. At least I know someone else is feeling my pain. _________________ i'm a castaway with no fishing pole, and the fishing hole is just a cast away |
