After about a year of trying,..Johnny Skeeter and I finally found a day to go fishing together. We hit the river out of Haddam from 7AM until about 3 or so and found a few bass here and there through the day. Our best 5 fish would've went about 11lbs or so. Biggest bass of the day was this one that went about 4lbs (although it looks a lot smaller in front of Johnny's massive body,... Rolling Eyes ).

All the bass came on jigs, worms and also a fluke that Johnny was tossing for a while. We couldn't buy a bite off anything on top, although it looked like a perfect day for it!
The lunker came from one of Johnny's secret spots called "Crapikey Point"! Razz Razz

Nice day on the water guys.

I'll have to use the massive body excuse some day.
