I missed it this year, but last year (2013), the yellow perch spawn on the Connecticut River was in March. Here's one of my reports:

If you hit any backwater area off of the river during the spawn, a white or yellow two inch curlytail grub on a 1/8 ounce round jighead will catch you hundreds of yellow perch. Up in Enfield, I'd check out Raspberry Brook, which is on the eastern bank of the river and extends up into Massachusetts. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Sorry, I have no idea how to get there by land.
Hey, Tony, did you ever check it out? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
