Hi,
Sooooo? You want to ice fish Wood Creek?
That's usually the 1st place here in Ct. that will freeze over, and has been talked about a lot on a number of fishing forums.
I'm only 20 minutes from there so I've been checking it out every few days.
With "Ice Fever" running rampant -> that place will likely be over-run shortly as soon as decent/reliable ice (3" or better) is reported.
My personal concern is if too many fishermen get out on that small cove off the boat ramp -> the ice could (again could) get over weighed with people and stressed.
This includes the ice being peppered with numerous holes.
Just a word to the wise!
We're now in another warm run of Wx + some rain predicted up to Christmas.
Wx (day and night ) temps will turn colder starting Dec. 26th.
Till then -> Everyone please Stay Safe!
