Forced to face the fact that my open water pike fishing is about done. Anyone fished the West Farmington in the past week? Thinking about starting up in Riverton and working down tomorrow or Monday.

No way near done yet  water aint hard yet and as long as my hands keep moveing im still game to try

I hope you're right, but looking at the forecast, I expect the skim ice to take hold and not let go in the next few days. Listening to the wind howl right now! I might give it a go Monday morning. It won't be too long. If you and PeCo are going to try Hamburg, you may fare better launching at Baldwin to shorten the run. Shoot me a PM if you guys fish. Maybe I'll see you out there.
