We hit Winchester today, On the water by 8:45 and had some decent action in the morning. Wind was a bit rough and hard to fish slow, so we hit deeper water with crank-baits to stir up the active fish. Lulls in the wind we tossed drop-shots(gulp minnow-zoom worms).
Lots of little bass and a few solid fish. No temps as we never turned the fish-finder on. Water was stained due to the rain and wind.
I got this in the morning on a DT-6 BG. 25" and weighed 3.85LBS>
The pike and a monster bass(I know doesn't count) that broke off at the boat was the highlights of the day! Off the water by 4:00

My wife said she got it at Peebles. It was a gift and my son has one too.

The reports from the river and Bantam look killer. Makes me want to hit em, But my son isn't in to pike. But I bet if he nailed a 40 he'd change his mind.
