Hey all, I'm looking to head out Sunday afternoon (back in time for the game of course!) Does anyone know where the trout have been biting?? Thats what I'd really like to go for. Any reports at Mt. Tom? |

I've heard Mt. Tom has been pretty bad this winter. Lot of skunks. |

Hello Fish Whisperer,
If I had to reccomend a place, Ide say try Crystal Lake in Toland, if not to far for you. Easy on and off the ice there also. I also read, they recently stocked a really good number of Salmon there, and 20 over 20lbs apiece.
I've had my most awesome days thru the ice there for trout. Jigging really is great there. I know the lake well if you would consider hooking up. Sounds like a fun pre-game activity for the day.
More than willing to help cover your fuel cost and I'll by the bait if you want to think about it.
Sincerely,
Ned
