anyone have any tips for me?i just cant seem to come up with the numbers of bass i was getting recently.they seem to be really scattered.I'm sure the cold fronts we've had aren't helping the bite either. if any one knows where the bass seem to holding, please let me know.i don't know to much about fall holding places.last fall i was getting them in some of the more shallow lakes i fish on the steep drops close to shore but I've been fishing a lot of deeper bodies of water lately.

My guess is that some of the lakes are starting to turn over. The bass are going to spread out and hide in places they haven't been since late winter or early spring.

Basswacka,

The last few trips I went out I've been using a black/blue mini king spinner bait, hittin gthe shore line and weed bed edges.

It's been working for me. for now.

yeah, ill have to give the small spinner baits or a small crank a try.i went out yesterday,10/4 and had some luck on the drop shot with about a 2 1/2ft tag line.i got three pretty nice larges on that and a little smallie on a 1/8oz shaky head finesse rig.there was a tournament going on at the time too, so there was a lot of pressure.but over all it was an ok day.
