I'm not much of a fly fisherman, in fact I don't think I even took my fly rod out of it's case last year. I'm thinking about fly fishing opening day, but I don't know if I wanna get frustrated or catch fish.
If I do end up fly fishing, I'll probably use some squitos, Mickey Finns, and asst'd streamers I've tied/bought. Any suggestions?? |

streamers are an excellent choice... fish them down and across. Trout will hit it HARD! Also try wooly buggers. |

olive beadhead buggers and nymphs with split shot. Got some red and chartruese copper johns from cabelas, those things are deadly. Early spring fishing means most of the fish are on the bottom, so you have to go deep to get them. |
