Hello I am new to this site but not to fishing in CT. I have heard that in the summer there is a Wednesday night tournament out of the Wethersfeild cove. Does this still exists and if so where is the sign up.
Thanks in advance this is a great site |

It exists, and its pretty cool.
It is totally casual. Show up, pay the lady, sign in, fish, and at the end of the eve, big fish takes all.
If I recall, you gotta be there by 5:00.
I dont know when it starts this year. |

Justin Tralli will know, he's pretty tight with the guy who used to run it when it was out of the Riverside Park launch north of Hartford. I'm sure when these events take off he will be fishing some of them. I want to say that they start around or just after Memorial Day. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

I believe they do, but I have no clue what it is. Again Justin Tralli will know all the details, you should PM him. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

As far as a season pass... only if you live in Wethersfield.
However... they are sort of cool, that if you show up on Wednesday, and tell the old guy that you are in the tourny, he will only charge you $10.
IF you get there kinda early, and bring a big bill...one with Benjamin Franklin on it, he doesn't have enough to make change... and if no one is watchin... won't charge ya to park/launch. I learned that by accident, (at least the first time it happened)
otherwise, $10 to park, $10 to fish, hope for a biggun. |

I think if you are non resident the Season pass just costs more....I used to keep my boat in the cove for the season for 4-5 years.....It just cost more for us out of towners.......check with Weathersfield Park and Recs _________________ -Woof |
