Read the paper this morning , Jodi Rell decided to reduce the cost of fishing and hunting licenses. Fishing licenses are going from $40 to $28 starting this week.
For those of us that have already paid the $40, there will be no refund. I bought my $40 license 2 months ago, and I feel like I just took it up the rear twice this year with no lubricant!
I'm going to raise holy hell, I want my $12 back. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

That's a bunch of BS!! I'm glad the cost went down but all sportsmen should benefit from the price adjustment not just the procratinators and trout fishermen. |

Hi ALL!
YES I read where the fishing and hunting lic. fees have been reduced.
YES There is NO refund.
YES! We've been hornswoggled AGAIN
YES Those that paid the higher fees are ANGRY
YES It would be nice to get (as BT said) a free lic. next year -> BUT that won't happen.
Better to have next years lic. reduced by any overpayment you incurred this year before the reduction.
THAT WOULD BE EQUITABLE AND FAIR

Yeah this is BS. It's all about the revenue. They figure lower the cost, that the greater percentages (part timers) will buy and will go out Saturday. The part that pisses me of is that I fish salt so my cost was the $50.00 fee. Which we should no be charged for. So it would give me back $22.00. Which I would give two craps about if it wnet back to our resources instead of the so called General fund. That $22.00 is 1/2 to 3/4 a tank of gas for the car.

THANK GOD those prices went down! I was starting to think that the state's plan was to not have people buy licenses and make more money by catching people fishing without them
But
More importantly
The prices take effect this week!
Thank god once again for me not having to be unloading my savings to the state on my 16th birthday for a fishing license AND the permit test! _________________ Catch and release only.

I'm not upset...my fishing license is well worth $40 to me for the amount of enjoyment it brings...I've already been on the water 10 times...that's got to be worth at least 12 bucks. _________________ Kira
