Went to Gardners Saturday night and got one nice eye as soon as the sun went down
Then the day before my buddy Dean and I did real good on the perch. Kept nothing smaller than 10 inches
The biggest perch at almost 15 inches

Didn't eat it yet because I used all the season bread crumbs on the yellow perch the night before. The meat though looks like striper meat very flake and almost zero bones. Never had walleye in my life either... |

Walleye bathed in milk tossed in seasoned bread crumbs and fried in olive oil is the best tasting fish I have ever eaten in my life. |

Nice job out on Gardener. How's the Ice down there? I've only fished it in open water with some nice luck with pickeral, perch and walleye...none as big as that walleye you caught though.
Can I ask where on the lake you were pulling all those perch from? good lord. _________________ Keep 'em hooked and get 'em in the boat! |

Ice on Garnder is well over 8 inches takes along time to drill through. And the perch beleive it or not was from upper Moodus |

Judging by the picture it is deffinately the NNE side of the island where there is a nice steep drop off and the hole is 35+ feet. and the deepest spot on the lake. |
