After getting my first taste of wade fishing on the farm', i am pumped to find spots in Fairfield county.
however my search has failed so far.
i have no interest in the saugatuck river, and would like something other than the naugatuck.
i m not asking for honey holes, just towns or a section of a town where i can chest wade for trout in Fairfield County.
thanks in advance |

2 stretches of the Mill River I wade in are the TMA and Brookside Dr.
The Pequonnock at Beardsley Park, Trumbull Rd bridge, and Unity Park are also perfect places. But remember, Memorial Day to Labor Day is when the city checks for park permits. The stretch along The Wonderland of Ice is also nice.
The Pootatuck has lots of nice areas to wade in. Check out Google maps to see which areas have easiest access. |
