Had our annual night tournament this past Saturday at Congamond from 7pm-2am. Thought the cold front that blew in the night before was going to turn things off, but there was a pretty consistent bite all night long. Everyone caught some fish and the slight chill in the air kept (most of) the crazies off the lake during the dark hours. 1st place was Todd with 12+, 2nd John with 11.5 and 3rd Fish with 10+. Lunker was 3.98 by Chris. Guys reported catching fish on various soft plastics, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and top water. Weather people said it was going to get into the upper 40's but when we drove by the airport at 3:30 on our way home the temp was 57. Always a decent slay out there. Next up: Candlewood on Sept. 8th. I caught a fish on my third cast of the night, thought it was going to be the kiss of death up ended up getting a small limit good enough for 5th place. _________________ Bringing Along Weighty Sacks
