Hi Phil,
I read that and was going to post it, but you beat me to it.
One thing people don't seem to realize is that when a boating incident occurs ( the hard fact is) it takes much much longer to get rescue and response teams to the particular incident site.

Yeap, especially with all of the "false alarms" about which I've been reading, lately. People are idiots.
