just got home from a nice little trip out of pleasure beach and around millstone. we parked at our porgy hole and cleaned up. (sand worms) there were sea robins and short sea bass mixed in. i lost what i think was a big fluke on a chunk pole i had off to the side. (the reel broke in mid fight haha) we drifted for the last hour or so with squid on fluke rigs and landed three, all 16 inches.

they are not stacked up thick but they are in all spread out. we picked them up on the first pass of each spot we drifted. normally i would keep drifting a spot where i pick one up but next time i go out im going to just try and cover more ground. i would like to try putting in further east as well maybe around stonington.
