Just got back from fishing the farmill reservoir in shelton. When I got there I noticed some fish swimming around below the dam in a foot of water so I threw a size 0 blue fox and caught 3 very small largemouths and a little pickerel in 5 minutes. Then I headed over the dam hoping to catch something bigger, but no luck, just 3 more small largemouths and a 10 inch pickerel. I'm not sure how to catch the bigger fish in there. I should also mention how many dead fish I saw on the edge of the water. I saw about 5 dead catfish, a dead baby largemouth and about 5 of what looked like white perch. I'm thinking it's from the heat and the water is looking pretty low despite the recent rain. |
