Went to Ball Pond on Saturday morning for some me time. The intention was to go for some trout. I did catch 4 nice browns all between 13 and 14 inches. But the surprise of the day was the 18" 4 lb largemouth! All the way in the deepest part of the pond on one of my suspending Alwives. Of course it was also on my micro light 5' St Croix with the mini Pflueger Mini Trion. Funnier part was i didn't catch one trout on any of the dozen Sawbellies I bought at Candlewood bait and tackle! I caught them on a silver and blue Kastmaster with a white trailer.
Lots of fun. The fish didn't start biting till 9:30. Got there at 6:00.
I'll try to post a pics if I can ever figure out how. _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |
