went on a nice hike along pine brook (middle haddam) today. throwing a spinner i landed a few brooks and browns, and some fingerling salmon. lost a beast of a brook trout 3lbs? we will meet again... |

Hi,
Oh My! .... Pine Brook -> I fished that when I lived in East Hampton -> Never saw anyone else fishing that small stream!
Love the small streams -> Some big fish can be found in them!

Pine Brook was a favorite of mine years ago . Its a great small stream and holds trout well. It used to have a number of small native brookies in the 6 inch range. I haven't fished there in years. |

the native brookies are gone... they throw in a few of mixed variety every year. the only thing native in there are the pesky dace. got a fat tiger in there last summer though. |
