Hi,
Have been looking at the specs on the latest fishing line to hit the market.
Called Tuf-Line (DuraCast version) -> Has anyone tried it yet?

I bought a spool of it last year. I never actually spooled it on anything though. Just feeling it in my hands I was skeptical of how it would fish. It is so limp and stretchy but I think I found it through doing some research and it had good reviews. I can't recall now what purpose I bought it for but this post reminded me about it. Maybe I'll spool it up soon. If I do, I'll post on it. _________________ Never give up! |

Hi slim,
Did you say it was stretchy ?
Thought it wasn't suppose to be -> More like a braid/fireline -> oval in shape with a coating?
Hmmmm?
Guess I'll need to do some more research.
Looking for a 3-4 lb. test for Kokanee fishing!
Thanks for the info!

It's marketed as a superline but it doesnt feel like most superline IMO. It is also yellow so I dont know if it would be good for line shy fish. _________________ Never give up! |

I was watching a show yesterday that there are braided lines designed for all types, Some that stretch like a mono, some that float and some that dont and a few others, there was a whole line of them from one brand. Maybe this is like that but it isnt the same brand, that I know just cant remember the name of the other. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
