| I am making a cabelas trip this weekend. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for lure or soft plastics for bass and pike. |

I lost my one and only RAPALA skitter walk on a tree today!!!
wahh I dont want to spend another $8-$10 on another!
3/16oz spinner baits have been working well

Did you happen to lose a rapala subwalk too? lol I found one the other day when I was kayak fishing BRAND NEW.
On that note anyone familiar with this bait I haven't fished it yet, hows the action? |

May I have it back please, I only used it twice before which was this year!

Others may not suggest this but, if you like senko brand, you could pick up the senko kit.

I don't fish for pike, but here's some bass killers you can find there:
Koppers Live Target series bluegill.
The larger version in 3-4 ft diver has earned like a champ for me.
Zman finesse worm.
They float. Perfect drop-shot plastic.
Rapala DT series in perch.
Once you know the depth with which you want to crank, seek this lure out.
Owner shaky worms or Big Bite Baits Squirrel Tails.
If you're into the shaky head vibe, you need these.
Strike King Rage Tail Craw or Berkley Power Hawg.
Two creature/craw baits that don't leave my worm bag. |

Couldn't agree more on the rage tail and power hawg!
Drop shot I would go roboworm in aarons magic color.
Shakeyhead, I have first hand literally TRIED THEM ALL it's one of my favorite finesse techniques, go with the ZOOM trick worm it has super buoyancy |

Zoom is a stand-up company. Not many sleeves of plastics these days come with 20 worms. All these new fangled individually packed 8 worms for the same cost as a bag of 20 Zooms can shove it.
Although my hypocrisy is showing since I really like the Damiki FInesse Miki. |

alright i know im only 13 but take my advice im an avid bass fisherman and going today. If you plan on doing any fishing for bass soon i sugggest the rapala husky jerk 08. Also if your looking for cheap but great crankbaits try the bomber square a in the oxbow bream color. For slow jigs i suggest football head jigs with a black and blue skirt. But honestly im a big soft pllastic fisherman so i would get the zoom baby brush hawg and texas rig it and the new yum f2 mightee bug and put in on a jig head or texas rigg it finally another good one is the yum f2 shakaliscous. Finally dont waste your money buying senkos at cabelas when you can get 100 pack bulk bags on ebay for 18.99 plus shipping and handling much better deal and works the same as the yamasenkos. As always GOOD FISHING!  |

I think its worth the extra 4-5 bucks to get lucky craft pointers for jerk baits, there simply IS NOT a better jerk bait out there. As for the football head jigs they're mostly intended for hard and/or rocky bottoms i.e ledges and rocky points. |
