they are all good but the problem is you just don't know when. Go put some time in and you will figure it out. No single lake is on fire 24/7 unless you are talking about an illegal water shed. Get the anglers guide and find some local ponds then put your time. in. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

i dont "surfcast" for bass but we could probably help you alittle better if you told us where you are located and how far your willing to drive. Want smallies? hit Candlewood or the CT river north of Hartford. Fishing can be fantastic this time of year. Get out there. |

candlewood is approx an hour drive from that area.........is that what you consider "way to far"? not sure where your going to catch any LMB or SMB staying in glastonbury. i guess your stuck with the CT river. goodluck. |

i agree with hoppy. i would understand if you might be bringing a boat but when i bring my boat i consider a long drive to be about 2 hours. i would try highland lake or bantam or twin lakes. i have caught some nice sized fish in these 3 places. good luck fishing |

Keeney Cove or Crow Point Cove are good places to fish near Glastonbury. Good luck! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
