Went to Moodus for a little bit around 4 pm, Using a husky jerk and a jig no luck. Went a little late and probably fished a little to fast being a little impatient trying to get that first Bass. The only thing with my Husky jerk is that they dont suspend as much as I would want them to. Does anyone have any advice on how to make them suspend deeper in the water and what color Husky jerks have you guys been using? _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

Has the level of the ewater gone back since last year? I usualy put lead weight strips on my jerk baits to make them run deeper.

You can also add split rings to the hook mounts on the bottom of the plug. One on each should help it supend a little longer. If you have lead strips it's easier to adjust though. Color as always depends on the baitfish where you are, the closer you get to what's in there, the better you'll do. Still good to be out to. |
