fished bantam on the water from 5am-1030am. the water temp started at about 78 and was 80 by the time i was off. it was calm and the topwater bite was non-exsistent again for some reason. even more frustrating was i was watching decent keepers jump clear out of the water but they would have nothing with my offering. started fishing a 12 foot deep breakline with rock and had a tap on the crank so i set the hook and felt a small fish. well i guess it wasnt so small it was just lazy because it started fighting hard. and into the net went lunker for the day scale says 5lbs even. i could see a perch in its mouth
then a 1lb smallie also on the crank. worked the lily pads with a sizmic toad and connect with a very green very dark 1.5lb LMB then a new area. another 12 foot drop that rises to about 6 feet. catch a 12" LMB then i miss a good fish both on the crank. go back with the black blue jig and pig and catch a stocky smallie. fought hard and jumped nice. after that i packed it in.
i know the pics are funny... cell phone is broken so its not that easy. _________________ www.nakedbaitco.com |

Nice job on the finding and the catching!
ps: the pics are fine,..you look like you're trying to do an impression of RichZ in that first one! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
