Hey there everyone!
I've been snooping around the forum for awhile and figured I would finally join all the fun. The past few years I have been getting back into it and once again find myself thinking daily about where to go and when I can get there to fish. When I'm not fishing I find myself buying more tackle and gear than I need..haha. I boat and fish on Zoar and Candlewood but grew up fishing Saugatuck along with many of the smaller ponds around Ffld county. I am much better at fishing the smaller places as open water fishing is still fairly new to me and my current boat is more for pleasure and family fun than for fishing, but I'm already considering a small aluminum that I can throw in the truck or tow around. Last year was my first experience with smallmouth fishing and I'm hooked. I've always targeted largemouth or trout but would really like to expand my skills and fish some new areas and use some new techniques. This place seems like a great site and has really helped peak my interest in fishing some different waters throughout the state. The spools are filled and I'm itching to get out there this season!

Welcome, and good to see your back fishing. Took a few years off myself to play in a bunch of bands, raise kids,etc. Now I'm back with a vengance myself. Never been better.
