Monday morning a buddy and I hit a small pond.

I stuck with the Original Floater that has been working for me recently while my buddy played with a few different lures.

I caught 2 largemouths no bigger than 1 pound all by doing a topwater retrieve with the Original Floater. My buddy caught 1 largemouth and 2 nice brown trout while lightly twitching a size 4 brown trout Rapala X-Rap.

My buddy and I both had 2 hits where he got the trout. They were rising for the insects.
