Wednesday another buddy and I hit the same pond I hit with somebody else on Monday.

I stuck with that size 7 bleeding pearl Original Floater while my buddy played around with a few Rapalas and soft plastics.

I hit 6 largemouths no bigger than a pound, a chubby 8" bluegill pumpkinseed hybrid, and a thin 14" 1 pound brown. My buddy lost 3 largemouths and missed out on 2.

All the bass and the hybrid I caught were on topwater using the Original Floater. All hit on the pause.

Saw the brown's stomach was filled with 1 certain type of insect.
