Sunday I got an earlier than normal start to fishing.

First around 10:30am I hit a local pond. Saw plenty of bluegills in shallow coves but not too many bass. Rapalas didn't do anything. The only 2 lures the bluegills and some bass were interested in were a white maribu and orange Trout Magnet on a 1/8oz jighead. They never hit the maribu but would follow it and stare at it. Only had 1 hit on the Trout Magnet.

Later I headed over to Twin Brooks Park. Hit the same spots that have been producing for me lately and stuck with that size 7 bleeding pearl Original Floater. Had 1 perch follow and beat the skunk with a chubby 16" 1 1/2 pound pickerel.
