fished rogers from 6:30-9:30am and caught a 4 lmb in the weeds on topwater and sluggo's. top 2 lmb went 3.7 and 3.2 lbs and both put up a great fight! pics below...

fished rogers thursday evening and picked up a 4.5 lb'er in the same area.

LOL,.......and when I saw him there, he was complaining about the lousy fishing!! Razz Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
Welcome to the forum Stu,..nice job on the catching, all i got were 3 smallish fish,..nothing over 2lbs!

Really nice fish; I live in the western side of CT. I have heard of Rogers lake but don't know where it is. cmorjoe

cmorjoe: rogers is in lyme (just to the east of the ct river up rte 156). nice lake early and late during the summer as it gets pretty choppy with all the recreational boating. some pads, some drop offs and a few islands to work with...

don't get to western ct much (other than mamansco when i visit my parents), any must do's when i get out there?
