Monday before work I went to check on 2 small ponds to see if they were fishable. Both had skim ice over them compared to the open water a week ago. Knew it was from the cold snap over the weekend.

Then went to Twin Brooks Park to finish the fishing there.

Fished a few areas but all that happened was had a hit from either a bass or a yellow perch while using a size 7 shad Rapala Shallow Shad Rap.

I may try twin brooks this weekend, I'd love to try out my new rapala dives to bluegill pattern, I know there are plenty of sunfish in those ponds.

Which size number is the DT Alex? Most ponds at Twin Brooks don't go any deeper than 6 to 8 feet, except for the larger one..

It's either a 4 or 6, both are 2" but I believe the 4 dives to 4 ft and the 6 dives to 6 ft, I forgot which one I got

Then you should be safe. The size numbers on the whole Dives To lineup means the target depth zone they dive to.

Michael; I just got back from twin brooks, I fished both ponds for an hour and a half without a single bite. I threw my new dives to, a husky jerk, a rooster tail, a blue fox, and berkley havoc baits. This is the second time I went to twin brooks in the past few weeks without getting a single bite, I don't know how you are even getting these fish to at least bite.

Feel free to send me a PM if you ever want to pick me up so I can show you around at Twin Brooks and see what works for me there.

I appreciate the offer, but I never really fish there I have tried it a couple times recently because its one of the only places I know that it is still open to fish. I could count the times I have gone there in my entire life one hand. Again, thanks for the offer, but once april 21st comes around I won't make it back there.
