Anyone of you use a rat-l-trap, clackin' rap or any thing similar for bass pickerel pike walleye...?
If so what size? _________________

I like to use 1/2 oz. I really like the red-eye shad by strike king _________________ Never give up! |

i had a choice between rapala - cottontail (i think) AND maybe strike king.
The rapala's had the most rattle in it.
Instead of buying one I bought a rod / real combo on clearance for a couple bux more. _________________

Instead of using a lipless crankbait, I've always been using the original Rapala Jigging Rap. The Jigging Shad Rap is a great one too.
My biggest trout of all time is the one in my avatar. 5 pound 1 ounce brown out of Candlewood Jan 2009 on a size 3 glow tiger Jigging Rap. Pickerel and bass have gone crazy for all sizes. Tons and tons of crappie and perch on the sizes 2 and 3 too. I have even hit stripers through the ice on the Housatonic with the Jigging Rap. |

Friend told me I should pick up a Rapala Jointed Shad Rap. Not sure how it will work but he said it kills in most all water for almost any species. It rattles and has a 4'-6' dive. Im excited to tester out! |

Elixir,
The 4cm Rapala Jointed Shad Rap is a KILLER! Silver Shad has always been my best color. Trolling will get it down to the 6' mark. Slow or steady retrieve from shore will take it from 2 to 4 ft.
Casting it along drop offs and weed beds are both great ways of using it from a boat. |

i've never caught a fish on one of these, just lots of weeds... i'll have to give them a shot this spring before the weeds come up _________________ PB's:
