Showed up at about 1:30, left at about 5:30.
I didn't catch much today, don't know if it was my fishing skills, or they just weren't biting! During my time there, I only caught a crappie and a bluegill; both on a silver HJ-6. I additionally threw some topwaters (a weedless frog, tiny torpedos, a popper), a spinnerbait, some worms, none of which got any hits.
If anyone has any tips for either of the ponds, let me know! |

This is a tough place to fish with high risk of "skunking".
We have a member here that seems pretty successful every time he goes....
I've had luck mostly on a kayak, VERY early in the morning and the bite died 30 min in...
Past month there has been "bucket brigade" going on. Tons of people taking fish out..... |

I went to mondo pond at least once a week and caught nothing... Until I started using some "senkos" I found in my dads bass fishing bag that he hasnt opened since buying a saltwater boat. I fish from shore and catch many small bass but yesterday in the rain i went and caught a giant, they are definitely in there[/img] |

Nice bass! That's at least 3 1/2 pounds!
I caught an 18" 3 pound 2 ounce bass at the main pond last year in June.
My biggest pickerel was a nice 21" 2 pound 6 ounce fish in November last year. |

Thanks! I haven't caught any pickerel but in the small pond I've reeled in plenty of half rubber worms so I think it could've been pickerel or snapping turtles what do you use?? |

Ive actually seen your reports haha I live in milford and was motivated to catch some bass after seeing them! My dad recently got a saltwater boat but we cant go out much because he works and he was really into bass fishing and he has so much gear for it that I decided to put to use! Needless to say I wasnt dissapointed but I wish I had started going earlier in the spring so I coudlve used more lures without getting stuck im weeds |
