This is my first post here but I was just wondering? Anyone had crummy luck lately on the housy in Derby? I tell you what used to be a great time of fishing with some of my friends has become a chore. Im not too sure whats goin on lately there but all I can say is its pretty sad when I do a better job at Zoar than I do in the river......Still wont give up on her though I love the river and Im sure this is just a cold spell, cant wait for it to heat up again though.

Are you talking about lake Housatonic or do you mean below the Derby dam? Two completely different places lake housatonic is only good when they are letting water over from Stevenson dam and below the Ousatonic dam (yeah thats the name of the Derby dam) how good the fishing is depends on the tides. cmorjoe |
