Hi,
Was bored so I took a ride over to Wood Creek.
Left the house at 3:45 PM
Stopped in Norfolk for coffee and got to WC at 4:08 PM.
Iced over!
I weigh 250 -> Stepped on the ice at the boat ramp and ice cracked into a spider web.
Got my spud out and chopped a plate size piece out at the ramp.
Ice was thick as my finger -> Maybe a tad thicker.
Will be awhile before the ice is decent/reliable at or above 3"
All depends on the Wx.
Temps are suppose to go back up into the 40's next week + rain is expected
I still think ice won't be ready till just before or after 1 Jan. 2012.
Best regards,
