Does anyone know a good place on the lake where you can catch some bass. There is the main dock that I cast from and there is some shade. Does anyone think that I could still catch some good bass. sometimes the trees give a good shade. Please Respond!!! Thank you!!! |

Gardner is tough...personally I hate the pace but there is good fish in there. 90% of CT lakes suck from shore including gardner. If you can get off the shore and out onto the water the coves in the back with all the reeds and pads in them should be good, also around the island. You would be way better off trying to find some small local ponds that you can get a decent amount of shore access all the way around it. Normally the fish in them are more aggressive and have decent size. _________________ You can play on your computer and hang out with your girlfriend if you want....Im gonna go fishin. |

P.S. Even if the place is tiny give it a shot. The picture under my name is of a 4lber that I got out of a little place I can basically cast across and I know there is a couple bigger ones in there. _________________ You can play on your computer and hang out with your girlfriend if you want....Im gonna go fishin. |
