Is Four Mile River Launch OK after Irene?

Was thinking of heading that way in the early am...

I have a long ride...

Any info on the area....would be appreciated..

Looking to fish for blues..maybe some togs..

I wouldnt recommend it but I would double check. Every river has been horrible that I have seen. You dont even want to know what the ocean looks like. There was a memo put out for hazardous conditions. Most of the rivers look like mud with tons of trees in them.

Also I believe blackfish season is closed now..

Hi!

I'd recommend to all to forget being on any river!
They're all still running high and rolly and will for some time.

AND if we get any substantial rain from Tropical Storm Lee, which is heading for us, (T storms starting tomorrow) then -> Well do I need to say more Exclamation

Saw, today, the police stop a bunch of young tubers from going into the Farmington River, near the junction of Rt.44 and 202 -> Farminton River is running high and the current is very strong!

mgzzcool - You should contact the DEEP's Boating Division at 860-434-8638 or dep.boating.division@ct.gov to confirm whether Four Mile River Launch is open. Be safe.

Yo yo yo!!!!! samll boat like your i would of checked it out.... But heard abouot how you ended up in Milford area and tyhe seas were bad tyhere.... good thing you didnt go to hatchets... Look for progies.... How was west haven launch? i'll call ya... Seadog mgzzcool is my bro-in-law and lives in Goshen... you two should hook up and go out for some lil salmons with you.....
