So I did go to the Thames yesterday before the storm. Fished from 6am till about noon. Didn't mark much at all and saw nothing breaking. It was an eriee calm until the parade of boats started up river to Norwich seeking safe harbor.
I saw only 1 or 2 small pods of bait and couldn't get any. Couldn't get anything to happen for me. I left around noon frustrated and out of ideas
