Went to messerschmidt today for a few hours with striperboy. The fishing was slow overall but I was able to catch a few fish. This was my first one within the first 10 casts of the day. Caught on a brushhog with a hookerz flippin hook and 7' All-Star flippin rod. Water temp was 83 degrees and it was real windy. Fish was caught in about 3 to 6 feet thick in the pads.
