You got a ton of stuff in that part of the state.
The state's biggest lakes, candlewood, zoar, and lillanoah, and biggest natural lakes, waramaug and bantam. The housatonic runs right through down town new milford. Also squantz pond the states oldest walleye fishery |

I love how everyone forgets Ball Pond! It is THE best for largemouth that I've ever fished! And the are 9+ lb Brownies in there! _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

I definatly second Ball Pond! That's my favorite spot around! It's a great fishery, just make sure to rig weedless! _________________ Fish N' Tips www.roeboatfishing.com |

How is Ball Pond with boat traffic? I hate dealing with boat traffic when I'm on the kayak. |

The weeds are higher in Ball Pond than I have ever seen! Good hiding spots for Mr Bassie though! _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

Is there any swimming at Ball Pond? LOL, sometimes my daughter comes with me. It would be a nice break for her if it gets too hot. |

There are two beaches at ball pond. One is private and the other is public they are both on rt 39. The private one is better and I think you can pay to get into this one. _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |
