Isn't wasting gas and not catching anything better than sitting at home anyway? |

i saw a guy catch two schoolies in the river near the suffied damn and talked to someone under the suffield bridge two days ago that said he caught two that were just shy of keepers. The fish are still jumping around here and i had a huge one hit my rapala at the side of the boat. I would give it a shot, seems like there are plenty left _________________ Bass > Trout |

Most of the big guys are out of the river now. We have been nailing from the mouth out to the sound. I will be posting a report with pictures in the off shore section later. Last night I caught a 40" Striper that was close to 30lbs... We have been catching 32 to 36 on average everyday. All of the ones at the mouth and in the sound are really fat this year. The fillets alone have been bigger than must stuff I caught in tge river this year. _________________ Better things happen at night! |
