Does anyone have a good recipe for cooking (perhaps grilling) striper? I love eating fish but I rarely cook it myself… however a friend of mine at work just gave me some frozen striper. I’d like to thaw it out and cook it up this weekend Smile

I don't have the exact measurements any more as I normally don't do the cooking but here are two we've enjoyed.

Lazy mans lobster.
Cut the striper into chunks and boil in sugar water. Then rinse in ice cold water to firm it up and eat like cold lobster.

My uncle called this natucket something or other and they used to use it when in was stationed in the CG on the Vineyard.

Lay a fillet in a piece of foil.
Lay some vidallia onion slices on top fo the fillet
Salt and pepper fillet
Melt butter, add soy sauce or was it worcherter, can't remember, add a packet of powdered chicken broth.
Pour over the fillet, wrap and bake in oven until white and flaky.

This was Delicious and we made this years ago for a company picnic and it was a huge hit.

Good luck!
