went off shore for about an hour today, the lake was 3/4 covered in ice.threw jerk baits, jig head/ smoke colored grub, and a slip bobber/1/16oz jighead with a small smoke/red flake tube. The bobber/tube got me my only bite,a nice 16'' id say about 2lb smallie. nothing crazy but ill take it for february. I was gonna upload the pic but i forgot it's a pain on this site and i don't remember how. _________________ this fish here is a real donkey!!! |

Whereabouts at the Dam? I’ve caught nothing but pickerel since December, would love to catch my first bass of the year . _________________ PB's:

off the end of the peninsula. If the nights keep getting real cold it's gonna freeze, the whole lake was ice except from the front of the peninsula down to the spillway.
There was a guy ice fishing about 100 yards to the left off the boat launch. Every once in a while the bass school up in front of the peninsula and it can be good fishing but it's been pretty slow the past couple times ive been there, infact thats the first bass i got and ive fished it 3 times in the past couple weeks. _________________ this fish here is a real donkey!!! |
