Shore fished right near the steel bridge a week or so ago in the evening..... very small panfish on worms. An assortment of lures turned up nothing for me. Right as we were about to leave my partner in crime for the day caught a 19lb 8oz carp....
I can't believe they ate it, despite my pcb warnings....
Biggest freshwater fish I've ever seen caught. My largest fish is a 5lb,13oz LMB... but I don't carp fish and rarely ever use nightcrawlers.... but still, it dwarfs anything I've caught....
I'm fishing with 6lb test on one pole and 15lb braid on another....good thing he had a 9ft surfcaster with 50lb test LOLOL |
