Hi!
Did yard work most of the day till 2:00 PM.
1st went to Colebrook Res. but S wind was blowing too hard.
Went on up to Howells Pond -> No wind!
KILLED THEM
Gave up counting the trout I caught on small spinners and spoons.
One couple in canoe on the pond just paddling.
Fished off the dam with a super nice kid named Jake (12-13 years old).
My dog MacDonough took to him right off the bat!
His mother dropped him off (for 2 hours) and I helped him with improving his casting.
He too caught a number of trout.
We both had a good time fishing.
Most where Brookies with a few Browns mixed in.
I kept 5 nice fat Brookies and released all the rest.
Left Howells at 5:30 PM.
Such a nice peaceful little pond.
Turned out to be a super day
